Joah’s STEM Activities and Robots
The following are links to my published Instructables through my previous job as a Tompkins County Public Library Library Assistant. These activities were used for in-house and outreach programming. Each Instructable includes instructions on how to make the toy or robot, a part list linked to Amazon, and a suggested lesson plan.
Arduino Neural Network Racer
The Arduino Neural Network Racer is designed to introduce anyone interested in AI, Autonomous Driving, and robots to the foundations of Neural Networks. You can find the instructions on my Instructables page here or by clicking on the image of the robot. This project is opensource and free to use.
Tech Rockstar Academy Crash & Go Bots
I developed the Crash & Go Bots program for the nonprofit Tech Rockstar Academy. The program focuses on teaching youth full stack development using web design, Javascript, and C++ to control non-destructive combat robots. The controls are simple hold down the button programmed in the app to charge forward, and release to spin in place and defend. Check out the Instructables here.
